On behalf of the Governors, Staff and children here at Britannia Community Primary School, I would like to welcome you to our school and thank you for visiting our website.

Our school is a friendly school where children are encouraged to become confident, articulate and caring individuals who use all their abilities to the full.  We have high expectations of behaviour and achievement and the good quality teaching and pastoral care our children receive, regardless of their starting points or abilities, ensures that they have a great beginning to their school career.

It is important to us that the children are happy, enjoy their learning and have a wide range of opportunities made available both within the school and through our enrichment activities. At Britannia every child matters and each individual is provided with the chance to shine.

Our curriculum provides our children with opportunities to acquire new knowledge and develop key skills in an engaging and hands on way. This results in good progress and the development of responsible citizens who are ready to face the journey ahead.
